Check CSR

The Check CSR decodes a PEM certificate signing request so its subject, public key, signature information, and requested names can be reviewed. It gives an immediate, focused result with no signup, explains the important limits beside the output, and keeps the workflow as private as the implementation allows.

What should be checked in a CSR?

Checking a CSR means reviewing the subject, requested hostnames, public key, and signature information before certificate issuance. This page decodes the PEM request so configuration mistakes can be found before a CA signs a certificate that covers the wrong names or contains unexpected organization details.

The browser processes the request locally with node-forge. Decoding and structural verification do not demonstrate control of a domain, establish the requester's identity, or guarantee acceptance by a certificate authority. Compare every requested name against the intended deployment and use the key matcher when a private key also needs verification.
