What does image-to-Base64 conversion produce?
Image-to-Base64 conversion reads an image as text and produces a complete data URI containing its MIME type and encoded bytes. The result can be placed directly in an HTML image source, CSS declaration, email template, or small self-contained asset where a separate file request is undesirable.
The browser FileReader API processes files up to 10 MB locally and preserves the source format and transparency. Base64 adds roughly 33 percent to the byte size and prevents normal browser caching of the asset, so it is best suited to small images rather than photographs or other large resources.
