How is the overall privacy score calculated?
The Privacy Score starts at 100 and applies visible deductions for a public IP exposed through WebRTC, cookies present, unavailable passkey support, and a large fingerprinting surface. Every deduction is listed so the number can be understood as a checklist rather than a hidden verdict.
The current model subtracts 25, 10, 5, and 15 points for those respective conditions and floors the result at zero. These weights are editorial choices, not a scientific anonymity metric. The score omits account tracking, DNS, extensions, telemetry, browsing history, and many server-side signals and should guide investigation rather than certify privacy.
