What can an email-header analyzer reveal?
An email-header analyzer turns raw RFC 5321 and RFC 5322 fields into a readable delivery path, showing Received hops, timestamps, addressing, message identifiers, and authentication results. It helps investigate delays, spoofing indicators, forwarding behavior, and which systems handled a message before it reached the mailbox.
Parsing happens in the browser, so pasted headers stay on the device. Headers added before the first trusted mail server can be forged, and a displayed pass or fail must be interpreted in the context of the trusted Received chain and provider-added Authentication-Results fields. The tool does not inspect message-body malware.
