How does a dereferer work?
A dereferer sends a visitor through an intermediate page configured not to forward the source as the Referer header. The destination then receives the navigation without learning the original page URL through the normal referrer mechanism.
This implementation uses a same-origin intermediate route with a no-referrer policy before redirecting. Browser behavior ultimately controls the header, and removing it addresses only one metadata channel. The destination and intermediary can still observe IP addresses, query parameters, cookies, browser fingerprints, and request timing.
