PDF Watermark

The PDF Watermark places configurable text across PDF pages locally and exports a newly marked document. It gives an immediate, focused result with no signup, explains the important limits beside the output, and keeps the workflow as private as the implementation allows.

What does PDF watermarking do?

PDF watermarking places configurable text onto pages of a document and exports a newly marked copy. Visible labels such as Draft, Confidential, recipient names, or review dates can communicate status and discourage casual redistribution while keeping the source file unchanged.

The browser applies the text with pdf-lib, so the document is not uploaded. A watermark is a visible notice rather than access control or durable rights management; someone with editing tools may remove it. Rewriting the PDF can also affect signatures and other document-level features.
