How are images combined into a PDF?

Image-to-PDF conversion places selected raster images onto pages in a chosen order and exports them as one PDF. It is useful for assembling scans, receipts, photographs, and screenshots into a document that is easier to share, archive, or print.

Pdf-lib creates the file locally in the browser and preserves the selected sequence. The embedded images remain raster data, so text is not searchable or selectable unless separate OCR is performed. Large, high-resolution inputs can produce a large PDF and may consume substantial device memory during creation.
