What does a robots.txt generator create?
A robots.txt generator builds user-agent groups with Allow, Disallow, and Sitemap directives for the text file served at a site's root. The file tells cooperative crawlers which URL paths they may request and points them to sitemap locations.
Rules are assembled locally from the selected options and should be tested against real paths before deployment. Robots.txt is a crawl request, not access control: blocked URLs can still be indexed from external links, and secrets remain publicly visible in the file. Use authentication or authorization for private content.
