How does CSV-to-JSON conversion work?
CSV-to-JSON conversion reads a delimited table, uses the header row as property names, and produces one JSON object per data row. This converter handles quoted fields, embedded separators, escaped quotes, multi-line values, and common comma, semicolon, tab, and pipe delimiters instead of splitting each line naively.
Parsing runs locally with PapaParse and follows RFC 4180 conventions, including automatic removal of a UTF-8 byte-order mark. The result reflects the source table rather than inferring a strict schema, so values remain strings unless the application consuming the JSON applies its own type conversion.
