Diff Checker

The Diff Checker compares two blocks of text and highlights every line that was added, removed or changed between them. It uses a longest-common-subsequence algorithm running entirely in your browser, so you can compare configs, logs or code without uploading anything.

What does a diff checker show?

A diff checker compares two versions of plain text and identifies which lines were added, removed, or changed. It is useful for reviewing configuration edits, log output, generated files, and code snippets when opening a full version-control project would be unnecessary.

This page runs a longest-common-subsequence comparison in the browser and reports differences at line level. Line endings and insignificant whitespace can still produce visible changes, and it does not attempt syntax-aware or word-level merging, so the result should be read as a textual comparison rather than a semantic code review.
