What does a number-base converter do?
A number-base converter represents the same integer in binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal notation. Seeing all four forms together is useful when translating bit masks, file permissions, protocol fields, color values, and low-level debugging output without recalculating each base separately.
The converter uses native integer parsing, accepts signed values, and displays hexadecimal output in uppercase. It works with whole numbers only: fractional input is not represented accurately, and negative values are shown with a minus sign rather than as a fixed-width two's-complement bit pattern.
