What does an IP blacklist checker query?
An IP blacklist checker reverses an address into DNSBL query form and asks public block-list zones whether they currently publish a listing. Positive responses can explain rejected mail, reputation warnings, or abuse controls and identify the specific list whose delisting procedure must be followed.
This checker performs live server-side DNS queries against five configured public zones without an API key. Lists have different policies, update schedules, and coverage, while shared egress addresses can be listed because of another user. A clean response is not a universal reputation certificate and should be combined with other evidence.
