Passkey Checker

The Passkey Checker tests whether the current browser exposes the WebAuthn platform-authenticator capabilities commonly required for passkeys. It gives an immediate, focused result with no signup, explains the important limits beside the output, and keeps the workflow as private as the implementation allows.

What does a passkey-support checker test?

A passkey checker tests whether the current browser exposes WebAuthn capabilities associated with a platform authenticator, such as a device biometric or secure unlock mechanism. It helps determine whether this browser-device combination can participate in common passkey registration and sign-in flows.

Detection uses native WebAuthn feature checks on the device and does not create or read a credential. A supported result does not prove that a passkey is enrolled, synchronized, accepted by a particular site, or recoverable on another device; those behaviors depend on the operating system, credential provider, and relying party.
