Browser Fingerprint

A browser fingerprint is a stable identifier built from the characteristics your browser exposes — screen size, fonts, canvas rendering, hardware details. Trackers combine these into a hash that follows you across sites without cookies. This tool computes that hash locally so you can see exactly what you are leaking.

What is a browser fingerprint?

A browser fingerprint combines characteristics such as rendering behavior, screen properties, platform details, and available features into a stable identifier. Trackers can use that combination to recognize a browser when cookies are blocked or cleared, especially when its collection of values is unusual.

This page runs the open-source FingerprintJS agent locally and shows both the resulting visitor ID and contributing components without uploading them for comparison. The value is an estimate rather than a permanent identity: browser updates, settings, hardware, privacy defenses, and randomization can change it, while different users can still collide.
