User Agent Checker

The User Agent Checker parses any User-Agent string into its browser, rendering engine, operating system and device components. It uses the ua-parser-js library entirely in your browser, so you can inspect your own string or one from a log without uploading anything.

What does a user-agent parser identify?

A user-agent checker parses the browser-supplied User-Agent string into likely browser, rendering engine, operating system, device, and CPU fields. It is useful for interpreting logs, reproducing compatibility reports, and understanding the legacy identification string sent with many web requests.

Parsing runs locally with ua-parser-js and accepts either the current browser string or pasted input. A User-Agent is client-controlled, often reduced for privacy, and easy to spoof, so the result is advisory rather than reliable device identification. Feature detection is safer for application behavior.
